From a First Quote to a Real Policy: Keeping the Insurance Journey Straight

A list of insurance quotes with client names, cover type and status

Insurance advisers juggle clients at every stage at once — some are still deciding on a quote, others are mid-application, and others already hold a policy. Without a clear system, it's easy to lose track of who's where. NexaOne CRM keeps quotes, applications and policies as three clearly separate, connected steps.

Step one: the quote

A Quote is simply a price you've worked out for a client, before anything is official. Fill in their details and the type of cover, save it, and it sits in your Quotes list until the client decides. Two calculators — Quick Quote for a fast, single-person estimate, and Profiler for a fuller look at a whole family's cover — both save a real record, not just a throwaway number.

Step two: the application

Once a client accepts a quote, a Convert button turns it into an Application — the stage where the insurer is actually assessing it. Applications can be viewed as a board too, so you can see at a glance how many are sitting with an insurer awaiting a decision.

Step three: the real, active policy

A Policy is cover that's actually in place. Every policy's full details — including any claims made against it — live on one page, so you're never digging through paperwork to answer a client's question over the phone.

A worklist that keeps you ahead of renewals

Follow-Ups groups clients who need a check-in — policies coming up for renewal, clients in arrears, annual reviews due — so instead of relying on memory, you work through a list, tick who you've contacted, and move on.

Three clear steps, one connected record per client — that's the whole idea.
